Eva turned 6 years old on September 13, 2009! We had a fun day as a family that ended with a party with friends at our house. She had 10 friends over, all dressed in their favorite dress up clothes, to make pizzas, paint flower pots, play on our swing set and for a round of "musical pillows." Everyone seemed to have had a splendid time - especially the birthday girl herself. Happy 6th Birthday to our Eva!!!
Owyn had a great start to Pre-K. He couldn't wait to get there and once he arrived, he barely needed to say good bye to mom! (Mom made him hug her anyway!) He picked out his shirt to look especially nice on his 1st day of school and I think he made a good choice. It was an easy transition this year since he is in class with all his old friends and a couple new ones, too. Have a great year, Owyn!
We recently had a lovely Saturday morning with friends Tanya, Ky, Caleb & Asher as we visted the Weston Red Barn Farm just 40 minutes north of KC. We picked apples, took a hay ride, visited with the animals and checked out lots of pumpkins! We ended the day with an apple-themed dinner. Good fall fun!
